The µINS Dual is a precision miniature GPS-aided Inertial Navigation System (GPS-INS) that, like the µINS+RTK, incorporates all functionality of the µAHRS and outputs orientation, velocity, and position. With dual on-board GNSS receivers, the µINS Dual uses accurate compassing to resolve accurate True North heading in challenging environments with magnetometer interference, as well as stationary applications. Sensor data from MEMs gyros, accelerometers, magnetometers, barometric pressure, and GPS/GNSS is fused using state-ofithe-art algorithms to provide optimal estimation.
The µINS Dual is ideal for high-accuracy antenna and radar pointing, as well as navigation of aerial, marine and ground-based unmanned vehicles in conditions that present challenges for magnetometers. Development kits featuring the rugged module or a convenient evaluation board are available for rapid prototyping and integration into existing applications.
