The Peregrine is a modular ballistic drone parachute system designed for all unmanned aircraft types, including fixed-wing and multirotor platforms. Coupling high-strength SLS nylon printed components and a lightweight parachute with high-performance CO2 ejection, Peregrine systems enhance safety and security with minimal impact upon the drone's payload budget.
The parachute system's modular carbon fiber canister can be conveniently attached to the base unit with a simple twist lock, allowing multiple canisters to be easily utilized in the field without the need to repack parachutes. The parachute deployment system uses a standard 1/2" or 3/8" threaded CO2 cartridge, and is triggered by an RC plane-compatible servo.
Peregrine parachute recovery systems are available in three basic unit sizes: 4”, 5” and 6” diameter. All systems use the same 4" diameter base plate and CO2 actuator valve.
