The ElevonX Scorpion is an elastic-powered UAV launcher that can be transported and set up by a single operator. Designed from the ground up with safety, durability and ease of use in mind, the catapult provides redundant safety features and can undertake hundreds of launches with only minimal maintenance. All elastic is enclosed within the launcher tube to eliminate risk to operator or equipment in case of band failure.
The system has been constructed with precision from CNC-machined aluminum and stainless-steel parts, and finished with a powder coating. It offers enhanced durability and resistance to weather conditions, from -20 to + 45 degrees Celsius, ensuring longevity and reliability in the field. The carriage and foldable arms have been designed as standard to support our modular UAV system, but we can modify the system to support your unmanned aircraft, even providing a custom-machined adapter to connect the UAV to the carriage.
Optionally, the launcher can be equipped with an electric winch powered by a 12 V supply. Car socket compatible. The winch tightens the launcher to full power in approximately 60 seconds.
The Scorpion launcher is provided with a checklist, “remove before launch” tags and a comprehensive user guide. We can also deliver operation and maintenance training to give users all the knowledge they need to confidently operate the system.
