Shark Gimbal – Stabilized Dual-Camera UAV Gimbal

The Shark is a gyro-stabilized dual-camera UAV gimbal with 360-degree continuous pan, suitable for both fixed-wing and multirotor aircraft. It provides both electro-optic and LWIR (longwave infrared) capabilities, streaming clear and electronically stabilized live geo-referenced video back to base.

The dual-side design, with sensors on both sides of the stabilizing mechanism, allows the overall height of the gimbal to be extremely low, and the modular sensor mounts allow for quick, easy upgrades and payload changes. The gimbal can also be equipped with an optional IR illuminator and laser rangefinder for further functionality.

As with all our UAV gimbals, the Shark is capable of Full HD 1920x1080p 25Hz output, with MPEG-TS H.264/H.265 encoding and embedded KLV metadata. Video output is NATO STANAG 4609 compliant and can be network streamed via RTP/RTSP, with Unicast and Multicast functionality.

Advanced features of the Shark UAV gimbal include video tracking of both moving and stationary targets, geo-locking and geo-referenced imagery, scene steering and an On-Screen-Display (OSD). Both video footage and snapshots can be recorded to a removable SD card.

The ORCA 220 Gimbal is a next-generation gyro-stabilized payload for fixed-wing UAS and multirotor drones that incorporates a cooled MWIR (midwave infrared) camera, EO camera sensor with 30x optical zoom, laser rangefinder and IR pointer/illuminator.

Featuring gyro and electronic image stabilization, the ORCA 220 drone camera gimbal provides moving object detection and HD video output with onboard recording, as well as target tracking, geo-locking and 360 degree continuous pan and tilt, making it an ideal option for law enforcement and commercial use.

Its modular design allows for custom sensors and optional capabilities such as a laser rangefinder, IR illuminator, laser target designator, or aerial mapping payload.
