Fizoptika has introduced its new VG220 series of FOG (fiber optic gyro)-based sensors for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and robotics. The first model in the series, the VG221, features high-accuracy performance and a compact and lightweight design, measuring just 33 mm in diameter and weighing just 17 grams. Like all Fizoptika gyroscopes, the ultra-miniature unit contains fully integrated optics and electronics.

- Dimensions (diameter x height) 33×12 mm
- Weight 17 grams
- Power consumption of 0.5 W
