Sagetech Showcases Innovative Transponders & Tracker Kits for UAVs

Sagetech Corporation have just launched their new company profile on the Unmanned Systems Technology (“UST”) website. The ‘Silver‘ profile highlights the company’s expertise in designing and manufacturing miniature avionics for both general aviation and unmanned aircraft systems.Sagetech UAV TranspondersThe new Sagetech profile on UST showcases their lightweight range of XP transponders. Each transponder features an integrated pressure sensor and altitude encoder, both compliant up to 60,000 feet.

Designed to meet FAA requirements, the XPC-TR Mode C Transponder offers highly reliable, compact broadcasting. The XPS-TR Mode S transponder incorporates ADS-B Out broadcast technology, whilst the XPG-TR also broadcasts the aircraft’s GPS location in Mode S communications.

The NextGen ADS-B UAV Tracker Kit is the latest addition to the Sagetech portfolio and is a complete tracking solution for UAVs. The technology was recently used to demonstrate joint flight operations between a manned Cirrus SR-22 aircraft and the Arcturus T-20 UAV.
