Carbon by Design receives the Lockheed Martin Outstanding Small Business Award
In recognition of its products and services, Carbon by Design has received the Lockheed Martin Outstanding Small Business Award. The award recognizes the dedication of the Carbon by Design team in the support of Lockheed Martin’s Aviation and Unmanned Systems market segments.
Based in Oceanside, California and employing a staff of 71, Carbon by Design a registered small business renowned for its manufacture of unmanned systems (UAV’s) and advanced composite structures which it has provided to Lockheed Martin since 2007.
In December of 2014, the company completed a full facility renovation to create a truly world-class manufacturing center of excellence. These improvements have increased productivity and allowed for teams to work in dedicated labs specifically suited to their unique program requirements.
