SimActive Releases New GPU-Based Orthorectification Module

simactiveSimActive Inc., a world-leading developer of photogrammetry software, is pleased to announce Correlator3D™ version 5.3, with significantly faster orthorectification. The process is now powered by GPU technology and multi-core CPUs, leading to a tenfold (10x) increase in processing times compared to previous versions.

Correlator3D™ also includes a new feature for displaying, in real-time, the generated orthophotos. This allows visual monitoring of results as they get produced.

“Our orthorectification module profits from all the available processing resources of the PC”, said Louis Simard, CTO of SimActive. “With data transfers also optimized, Correlator3D™ remains the preeminent photogrammetry software in the industry. The unparalled new standard in orthophoto production speed has been set.”

Correlator3D™ software is a patented end-to-end photogrammetry solution for the generation of high-quality geospatial data from satellite and aerial imagery, including UAVs.
